wife, baker, Business owner, comfort enthusiast πŸ˜‰

Meet kai

Hi, I’m Kai Bergquist β€” the scribbler behind Crumbfort. I’m a cookie-loving, comfort-seeking, former massage therapist, woman of faith, and lifelong lover of a good pun. πŸ˜‰

At its heart, Crumbfort was born from my belief that comfort matters β€” not just the kind we find in cozy kitchens and warm treats, but the kind that feeds the mind, nourishes the soul, and serves the community. Through cookie boxes, business reflections, and a little intentional wordplay, Crumbfort invites you to slow down and notice the power of the little things.

That belief looks a little different depending on why you’re here.

I believe a business can be a place of comfort as much as a kitchen can, and that a team who feels genuinely appreciated is a team worth protecting. Cookie Club for Teams is that belief, put into practice, one dozen at a time.

If you’re dreaming of building something of your own β€” a bakery, a business, a brand rooted in more than just good ingredients β€” welcome. I’m building Crumbfort one lesson at a time, in real time, through a biblical lens, and I’m sharing all of it as I go. For baking tips, business reflections, and all things cozy join the newsletter here.

So glad to have you here. Welcome to the Crumb-unity!

The FAQ

Most Common Q’s

Crumbfort is a play on words for “Comfort” and “Crumb.” The intent is to evoke the cozy feelings of a warm kitchen, sweet treats, and a welcoming home on the pages of the internet. With the belief that comfort is meant to be received, and then shared. (2 Cor. 1:3-4)

Crumbfort provides sanctuary for those seeking refuge from a fast-paced, worry-filled, and sugar-free life πŸ˜‰. If you enjoy business chats, cookie puns, and faith-filled musings, you’re in the right place!

Hey, Kai Bergquist here! I’m a wife, former massage therapist, a comfort-seeking, Bible following, blanket lover, who enjoys a good pun and all things cozy and crumbly. I started Crumbfort as my personal ministry to share little crumbs of joy, often in the form of baked goods, business tips, or biblically based thought-bites ☺️. Whether you come for the cookies but stay for my sparkling humor, you are very welcome.

That’s difficult to answer, as food is life πŸ€”. But if I had to consider what I continually go back to, the answer would be Cheesecake or Cookies. I love the versatility in flavor, the unique textures, the share-ability.
